About the Studio
Studio 4232 is a creative collective where fine art and design live under one roof. Founded more than a decade ago, it has grown into a space shaped by the vision of a mother, daughter, and daughter-in-law, each pursuing her own artistic path while working together in a shared environment.
Our practices span painting, sculpture, interior design, mixed media, and digital design. What connects us isn’t one style but a shared creative eye — and the unique dynamic that comes from creating alongside family. Ideas move freely between us, and while each artist develops her own work, the exchange of perspective keeps the studio evolving.
Looking forward, Studio 4232 is embracing a more self-sufficient direction by connecting directly with collectors through its online platform. The studio will offer original artworks, one-of-a-kind curated pieces for the home, and a growing selection of creative projects that continue to evolve. The vision remains constant: to build an artistic ecosystem rooted in passion, collaboration, and the joy of bringing art into daily life.
Meet
Shelley Marron
Shelley is the founder and cornerstone of Studio 4232. With a practice spanning painting, sculpture, mixed media, and interior design, her work reflects a lifelong love of art, design, and the transformative spaces they create.
Over the last decade, she has cultivated not only a distinctive personal body of work but also a collaborative spirit that anchors the studio. A yearly residency in Costa Rica—spent working alongside close friends and fellow artists—has been instrumental in deepening her practice, influencing her color palettes, and expanding her vision through immersion in nature, culture, and creative exchange.
“I’ve been an interior designer for over 30 years, but I’ve been an artist my entire life. It’s who I am and the space where I feel most myself. I love sharing this passion with clients, collectors, students, and now in collaboration with my daughter Margot and daughter-in-law Mary. This is a dream come true for me.”
Her primary objective is to create work that engages the senses through use of color, layered textures, and unexpected materials.
